Kantara 1 OTT Premiere Coming Soon

Rishab Shetty's Kantara: Chapter 1 has become the most sensational box-office case of 2025, as it was reported to have reached the global total of Rs 800 crores and outshined Chhaava's prior record. The film, which was released weeks ago, still keeps the audience coming to the cinema and thus confirms its status as a cultural landmark.

Apart from the above-mentioned success, the producers have given the hint of a potential streaming release to come, which means fans could get to watch the movie online from their homes pretty soon. Among the speculations, Amazon Prime Video is the one that most people think will be the platform for the digital premiere. Recently, the streaming service disclosed a photo of a powerful and godly Rishab Shetty, but they have not set a date for the release yet.

The audience stays split; some want the film to be available at home while others think it should continue to be in theaters strong.

The numbers from the box office say that Kantara: Chapter 1 grossed Rs 809 crore worldwide, as claimed by Hombale Films, thus surpassing Chhaava's total Rs 807 crore. However, the trade tracker Sacnilk has reported a somewhat lower amount of Rs 775 crore, which points to slight differences in the data coming from different sources. But still, the film's extraordinary success is highlighted in both cases.

In the first two weeks of release, the movie brought in Rs 717 crore worldwide, and then in the third week, it was able to add another Rs 92 crore already. The domestic income has also been very good with the Rs 563.50 crores of net collection in India indicating that the audience has been staying strong even after the release.

Kantara: Chapter 1 collected around $13 million from the overseas market which speaks volumes about the film's popularity among non-Indian viewers. To further the global reach of the film, the release of the English version is planned for the end of the month.
